Advertising design, illustration, and copy writing for members of the Winsted Retail Association, including Rose Sullivan's, Getting Off, and Outlook Design. Yearly production of Winsted Retail Association's Christmas Coupon Book for 3 years. Painted Laurel Flag for Town Hall. Constructed, hand painted and lettered sign for Outlook Design. Constructed and lettered vinyl signs for RKLCO, O'Meara Real Estate, Rose Sullivan’s Shoppe, Estra & Goodhouse Healers, and Winged Iris Gift Shop in Winsted. Corporate Identity and collateral materials for local companies. Complete production and typesetting on PC using CorelDraw and other Corel products. Illustration and photo editing using Corel PhotoPaint.  Equipment includes: PIII-800 PC, color ink-jet printer, full page scanner. MANAGER OF CAD GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT, LENARD ENGINEERING, Winsted, Ct. Reporting to Owner/Chief Engineer. Responsible for all AutoCAD renderings, delegation of job responsibilities, training new employees on AutoCAD, varied other computer work. Also continued freelance work in Northwest Connecticut.

1986-1988
FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER/ILLUSTRATOR, Metro Atlanta, Ga. area. Jobs included: All advertising and promotional materials for Renovator's Source Group, a group of 5 businesses based on "Period" home renovation (post civil-war); Freelance illustration for various ad agencies; portraiture.

1984-1986
DESIGNER/ILLUSTRATOR, PLAID ENTERPRISES, Norcross, Ga. Reporting to Art Director. Responsible for all advertising, promotional materials and packaging/displays for several product lines including GREAT GLASS, STENCIL DECOR, AND FOLK ART PAINT. Concept, design, comps, mock-ups and art direction for 4-color magazine ads, packaging, displays, catalogs, and collateral materials. Also trained on ITEK typesetting systems.

1983-1984
DESIGNER/ILLUSTRATOR, WORLD BAZAAR, East Point, Ga. Reporting to Manager of Design Department. Responsible for concept and design of major ad campaigns, art direction and photography for in-store promotional materials as well as for newspaper and magazine advertising, including 4-color work. Illustration of all World Bazaar products for newspaper ads and other promotional materials.

1981-1983
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, PRODUCT LINE MANAGER, WARING PRODUCTS DIVISION, NEW HARTFORD, Ct. Reporting to Manager of Graphic Design and Standards. Responsible for the development of all original design and artwork for packaging and collateral materials, catalog design and layout, art direction and food styling for product photography for catalogs and other promotional materials. Design cartons for all product lines. Responsible for all promotions and literature for Waring's Commercial and International Divisions.

1979-1981
